LU Online

It's been so long since I wrote anything that I had almost forgotten I had this silly thing. I am back now because I am taking a writing course through Liberty University online and feeling a bit inspired. What to write....
I know!! What I love of about Liberty University. Well first and foremost, they invited Glenn Beck (a Mormon) to speak at their commencement ceremony last Spring. "Big Whoop," you say, "Right now Glenn Beck is bigger than The Beatles." But you missed my point, a well known and respected evangelical Christian University had a MORMON commencement speaker. I kind like that radical thought process.
Second, I love that my classes at Liberty incorporate the Bible and God into even the most secular of topics. It's not just a nod in God's direction, either. Nope, it is a full frontal assault! You know from the first class email to the final exam that this class was designed and planned with a Christian world view.
Also, I love that my professor at Liberty are always encouraging in their communications. Challenging the students to do their best and yet to take time to meet with GOD. How many secular professors would encourage their students, pray for and with their students, and ask them to pray with and for each other? I never had one professor in the secular college do it. How about you?
Finally, and mind you this list is far from exhaustive, I love that I can get all of this interaction and Bible study and education in my pajamas. That's right!! Pajamas!!! I love my pajamas, but that is a whole other post.
