I love the way he rolls over runs his fingers through my hair and whispers sweetly, 'I love you.' He isn't just saying the words he thinks I want to hear, he means from his heart. I love to watch him waking up in the mornings, all snuggly and cuddly and then the words, "I'm hungry"
He has had a pretty rough life at such a young age, but it doesn't show. He is resting now, all snug in the bed, waiting for me to come rub his back and play with his hair. Blake is the most amazing kid I know. I bet you could never tell that great tragedy has entered his life. He talks about with a smile and rarely cries. He has found what few truly do, and that is the Peace of God beyond understanding. He knows that one day, he'll get to heaven and everything will be all right. But in the mean time he is enjoying life.

What I love about

So I was discussing my friend, Crystal, with someone the other day, and in the middle of my description I used the phrase " the most beautiful person I know" People say those sort of things all the time, but I mean it.
What I love about Crystal is her servant heart, the grace and dignity she carries into all that she does. I love her ability to sit for hours without saying a word, and in one simple word or phrase to penetrate the heart of any issue with wisdom and understanding. I love her eyes, one is blue, the other is a greensih hazel(Freaky but amazing). I love that she hasn't allowed life circumstances to shake her faith or resolve. She is the strongest woman I know, and yet at the same time the softest, most giving person. She is a Proverbs 31 woman, one of the very few I have ever met. I am sure if she ever read this she'd disagree and say she wasn't all that. It wouldn't be false humility either.
I love her heart for people and her determination to see things through. I love that she wants to go to Europe and minister to the people the love of God she knows so well.
And that, my dears, is what I love about Crystal (No Middle Name) Cryer. I love that she has no middle name and she hates the one I made up for her but still answers to it.

1st post: funny name

So I am having a little trouble getting this up and running, but it seems to be working now.
My blog is called "what I love about..." mainly because people are always talking about what they don't like about certain things, me being one of those people. So instead of letting the negative reign over my life and words, I am taking on the motto of a beautiful little song written years ago during the Second Great War or WWII as it is often called. The song, taken from a minister's sermon, says "You've got to accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative, And latch on to the affirmative, Don't mess with Mister In-Between.You've got to spread joy up to the maximum, Bring gloom down to the minimum, Have faith or pandemonium's Liable to walk upon the scene"
So what I love about.... my dog Stella is she is persistant, after being outside for over a year now she still jumps at the backdoor when I walk to that side of the house and whines to be let in. I love that you'd be hard pressed to find another dog that looks similar to her, she's half cocker spaniel/ half jack russell terrier. I love that I got her for free and she is worth more to me than anything. If I had to save two things from my burning house, after Blake and Ed of course, I'd grab my ducttape Bible and that crazy dog. I love that she stinks and has dog breath. I love that she gets super excited when I go out in the backyard with her. I love that she won't go in her doghouse but sleeps under the porch even in the rain. She barks at strange sounds at all hours of the night, I think she's a scaredy cat. Yep I love my Stella Bella and one day I am going to make sure she has I big backyard to play in, so she can run until she falls out.
